With a lifelong passion for numbers and a dream of becoming a CPA since the age of 10, Naureen has built a distinguished career in finance. Holding five degrees including a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) Certified Management Accountant (CMA, US), and MBA in Finance, Naureen graduated at the top of her batch three times, earning numerous awards, distinctions, and gold medals throughout her academic journey.

 

Boasting over 15 years of diverse experience across Canada and Singapore, Naureen has excelled in public practice, industry, and non-profits. She has experience working with businesses of all sizes, from solo entrepreneurs and small one-person companies to mid-sized firms and large organizations with millions of dollars in revenue. As a Harvard-trained leader, Naureen has participated in prestigious conferences and events at Harvard Business School.

 

In the non-profit sector, Naureen has held senior leadership roles globally, including serving as Finance Director and Committee Head for institutions involved in programs related to economic empowerment, refugee assistance, housing, family mentorship, and career development.

 

Outside of her professional life, Naureen is an internationally exhibited artist with shows in Canada and U.S. and published writer and poet, with a passion for oil painting, poetry, and nature photography. An avid globetrotter and yoga enthusiast, she also enjoys contemporary dance and tennis. Naureen speaks seven languages, including English, Hindi, Chinese (Mandarin) and Portuguese, bringing a rich cultural perspective to all her endeavours.
